I can't recommend Lisa enough - she does an excellent groom but also she is so conscientious of what our dog likes and doesn't She takes the extra time to ensure he's as comfortable as can be. (He's not a fan of the blow dryers which can sometimes mean long drying times). We've never had any issue/injury/freak out. Also what's really telling of great care is our dog always bounds in happily to her. His cut is always well done, not a detail left out"

Bark Avenue Grooming in New York, NY is a licensed and insured family-owned pet salon that opened in January 2016. Though we are a new business, our team of pet groomers has already been in the industry for over 15 years, serving the Upper West Side of Manhattan for 12 of those years. We may be new to the block, but we're certainly not new to the neighborhood!
We specialize in grooming dogs of all breeds and sizes. You can count on our highly certified and experienced grooming team to cater to your pet’s special needs.

“This place is so cute. It was extremely clean and the groomer was very pleasant. I had a ton of questions as my dog is very old and has seizures, and she really knew her stuff. The best part is the mom and pop boutique feel as opposed to the more corporate places you see all over this neighborhood. I felt the care was more personal and very professional. They have a small daycare room with beds for your dog to wait in for pick-up if you prefer no cages which is amazing. I will definitely be returning to Bark Avenue.”
